Prague, beautiful, full of historic squares, museums, traditional churches and impressive buildings, bridges, amazing food, entertainment, medieval castles and many more attractions. Huge, green parks in the city center, few cars in the streets, imposing palaces, important museums, insurmountable works of art, historic cafes, wonderful sweets and exemplary public transport.
DAY 1: ATHENS –– REAL TOUR OF THE OLD CITY
Gathering at the airport and flight to Prague. Arrival at the ''golden city'' and meeting with our local guide, boarding the bus and our tour begins with the ''Small part'' (Mala Strana) one of the oldest historic districts in Prague. Then we will admire externally the imposing baroque church of Ag. Nikolaou, we will walk from the picturesque Gothic bridge of Charles through the medieval streets of the ''Royal Road'' to the square of the old town, with the Town Hall and the famous astronomical clock and the ''apostolic parade'' as well as the square of the historic center of Prague. After the tour we will be transferred to our hotel. In the evening have fun in typical Czech pubs with local specialties and beer produced or in prague's famous jazz clubs.
DAY 2: REAL TOUR OF KASTROPOLIS
Breakfast at the hotel and our tour begins with the monastery of Strahov and Loretto, two of the most important monuments of Prague, then we head to the magnificent castle-city, which stretches on the hill of Mala Strana and ends at the imposing cathedral of St. Vitus and the chapel of St. Vaclav, protector of the country, the church of St. Georson, the palaces where the Dukes and Kings of Bohemia lived, the Tower of Dalybor and the "Golden Alley" which in the 16th and 17th centuries was the seat of the alchemists. The alley consists of small colorful houses, which were re-painted with bright colors in the 1950s. Many of the houses are now souvenir shops and there is a museum of a medieval arsenal within the former fortification of the 14th century. The number 22 belonged to the sister of the writer Frans Kafka, who used this house to write his writings for about two years. Then we will have free time for a walk in the city. For the evening we suggest you to watch a performance "Mavrou Theatre", opera, etc., besides you are in the city where the idea of the Mavrou Theatre was born!
DAY 3: PRAGHA – KARLOVA VARY
After breakfast, we will depart from Prague to the well-known spa town of Karlovy Vary in Western Bohemia. Known because of its thermal springs. In the 14th century it was named "Royal City" by emperor Charles in the 4th century and since then it has been established as a meeting place for personalities of letters, arts and politics. Crossing the main pedestrian street next to the Tepla River we understand why Goethe, Schiller, Beethoven, Bach, the Tsar of Russia, etc. walked the same road. Free time. Departure for Prague. Evening free.
DAY 4: PRAGHA – CESSY KROMYMLOV – VIENNA
Breakfast at our hotel and with the best impressions of the beautiful capital of the Czech Republic, we depart for the second most beautiful city after Prague, "Cesky Krumlov". Torrents of the River Moldava run in many parts of this medieval city which, like Prague, is on the list of preserved cities of UNESCO. It is a cultural gem with its particularly well-preserved Gothic and Renaissance buildings, churches and narrow streets. The walls of Krumlov enclose treasures of particular architectural and cultural value such as the ''hidden bridge''. Visit the castle of the city and admire from above the panoramic view. Then after a beautiful route we will reach the beautiful capital of Austria, Vienna. Our city welcomes us dressed in Christmas and we will visit the Christmas markets. You will have time to admire the decorated Christmas trees, the manger, the sugar houses, the Carousel, the train, the dozens of shops with festive gifts and the amusement park, in the spectacularly decorated streets where we meet happy bands, horse-drawn carriages, the aroma of roasted chestnuts, roasted almonds and candied fruits, wooden stalls with local products and hot beverages, decorated streets, fairytale performances and sets that compose the most famous Christmas market in Europe and bring to mind the magic of the ambassador of the Christmas spirit. Do not forget to try the well-known hot wine Punch.
DAY 5: VIENNA-CITY TOUR
Breakfast and departure for the tour of the Shenbrooyn Palace. We will visit the summer palace of Maria Theresa, which is considered equal to Versailles. Then we will tour the famous Boulevard of Ping, where we will admire the most important sights of Vienna, such as the Municipal Park, the Opera, the Square of the Museums, the Gate of Francis Joseph, the Parliament, the Town Hall, the old Imperial Theatre, the University and the Church of the Miracle, Fotif Kirge. Then we will end up in the cathedral of St. John's. Stefanou and we will wander in the historic district of the Greek community. Free time to walk in Kerderstrasse, enjoy a Viennese café café motzart or a hot chocolate in the well-known Sacher, one of the oldest and most famous patisseries in the city.
DAY 6: VIENNA-VIENNESE DASI-MAYERLING-BADEN-ATHENS
Breakfast at our hotel and free day. In the afternoon we will depart for the outskirts of Vienna, the famous Viennese Forests. First we will visit the monastery of the Holy Cross in Hailigenkroits. Then, at the location Of Mayerling, we will see the once Habsburg hunting pavilion, known from the sad story of the suicide of Prince Rudolph, the last heir to the Throne and Maria Vetsera, and finally we will close our excursion with a visit and acquaintance of the well-known spa town of Bagen. Free time. Then transfer to the airport for the return flight to Athens.
